Description

Mosin nagant for sale

Mosin nagant for sale is one of the most iconic and historically significant bolt-action rifles in the world. Developed in the late 19th century by Russian and Belgian designers, this rugged and reliable rifle served as the standard-issue firearm for the Russian Empire and later the Soviet Union. Its widespread use in conflicts such as World War I, World War II, and numerous other engagements cemented its reputation as a durable and effective weapon.

Design and Features Mosin nagant for sale

The Mosin-Nagant is chambered in 7.62×54mmR, a powerful cartridge still in use today for various military and civilian applications. The rifle typically has a five-round internal magazine loaded via stripper clips. Known for its simplicity and ease of maintenance, the Mosin-Nagant is prized for its ability to function in extreme conditions, from freezing winters to muddy battlefields.

The rifle’s design features a long barrel, contributing to its impressive accuracy over distances of 500 meters or more. Early models, such as the M91, had hexagonal receivers, while later versions like the M91/30 adopted a round receiver for simplified production. Many Mosin-Nagants were equipped with a long, fixed-blade bayonet, further enhancing their utility in combat.

Historical Significance Mosin nagant for sale

First introduced in 1891, the Mosin-Nagant was a joint effort by Russian designer Sergei Mosin and Belgian firearms designer Léon Nagant. Over its production lifetime, more than 37 million units were manufactured, making it one of the most-produced firearms in history.

During World War II, the Mosin-Nagant proved its worth on the Eastern Front, particularly in the hands of Soviet snipers like Vasily Zaitsev, who used the scoped M91/30 sniper variant to devastating effect.

Modern Appeal

Today, the Mosin-Nagant holds immense appeal among collectors, shooting enthusiasts, and historians. Surplus models are widely available and often sought after for their affordability, durability, and historical value. Many enthusiasts enjoy customizing Mosin-Nagants with modern scopes and stocks, though purists often prefer to keep them in their original configuration.Mosin nagant for sale

Small brick and mortar but loaded with a wide variety of "toys". Prices are a tad steep compared to gunbroker but staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable.

Called in for information on a couple guns, one person was friendly and helpful. The other was just today, and he came across as obviously annoyed that I disturbed him. I know you guys are probably busy and get several phone calls a day, but I'm trying to purchase a rifle and a pistol and would like to keep business local. However, when someone talks to me like I'm a huge imposition for bothering them by asking for them to do their job, it justifies why I should just order everything online. A side note, I tried running an inquiry through your website that "promises to get back to you within 24 hours", well that was a few days ago and nothing. I apologize for disrupting your nap or whatever, maybe don't even answer the phone if you're too busy to handle your customers. At least your competitors will enjoy your attitude.

I’ve had really good experiences in this store both purchasing firearms, ammo, parts and just looking around. However, since I had PCS’d out of Fort Cavazos I needed proof of ownership of my firearms so I can register them in my new duty station. After phone calls, 3 requests to 3 different people they have failed to provide me something so easy to provide. Good at in store things but not very good for phone, or email customer service .

My family and I took a trip to Killeen and I decided to stop here to check out some rifles. Everyone was friendly but Sam was our sales person. He was extremely professional, patient, and knowledgeable. There was no pressure. He answered my questions and gave me a few scenarios to allow me to make an informed decision. Great atmosphere and awesome staff. Most definitely will be back for our next purchase. Thank you so much for the great experience Sam!
