The full-size, lightweight Kel-Tec PMR-30 handgun is chambered for flat-shooting.Cartridge for 22Magnum (.22WMR). The PMR-30 uses a special hybrid blowback/locked-breech technology to function. Depending on the cartridge pressure, this operation system smoothly switches between locked breach and blowback operation, enabling the employment of a large range of ammunition. It makes use of a redesigned double stack magazine that completely fits in the pistol’s grip and carries thirty bullets.
The trigger has an over-travel stop and a clean single action. The manual safety is an ambidextrous safety lever that is thumb-activated (down for FIRE, up for SAFE). After the final shot, the slide locks back, and a manual slide lock lever is also included. STRONG, LIGHT WEIGHT CONSTRUCTION
The Kel-Tec PMR-30 weighs only 13.5 oz. empty. It’s slide and barrel are 4140 steel and frame is precistion machined from 7075 aluminum. The PMR-30 grip, slide cover, trigger, mag release, and safety levers are glass reinforced nylon (Zytel), much like other Kel-Tec Pistols. Dual opposing extractors improve reliability, heel magazine release aids with magazine retention, dovetailed aluminum front sight allows easy windage adjustment. LOW RECOIL, RAPID FOLLOWUP SHOTS
PMR-30 uses a unique hybrid blowback/locked-breech system that seamlessly adjusts to fit the pressure of the cartridge. Recoil buffer and dual captive co-axial recoil springs combined with the crisp, short-reset trigger allow high rate of aimed fire.
